Newcastle United boss Chris Hughton has praised the attitude of Spanish striker Xisco.
It looked as if United would sell him in the summer to Racing Santander, but there wasn't sufficient interest from the La Liga outfit to push through a deal.
"He came back in the summer and his attitude has been very good," Hughton told the Evening Chronicle.
"He worked hard and showed a very good approach in training.
"It is no reflection on his effort or application that we've decided to use other players so far."
