Newcastle United boss John Carver has urged Jack Colback to ignore the Sunderland jeers tomorrow.

Colback left Sunderland for Newcastle last summer.

"I'll be having a chat with Jack about how he deals with the situation but he's a big enough character and personality to handle the whole thing," said Carver.

"He scored against us as a Newcastle fan and he then signed for us so he's dealt with those two situations.

"I'm sure he'll deal with this one as long as he plays the game and not the occasion."
