Newcastle United caretaker manager John Carver will have a sit down with Toon fans who claimed to have been threatened by Carver during the 3-2 defeat to Swansea City at St James' Park.
Carver was forced to deny accusations of a bitter flare-up with supporters after his side lost their seventh-straight Premier League game leaving the club in relegation danger.
He also claimed that he had been singled out for abuse from angry fans who sat next to the dugout during the second-half of Saturday's defeat.
One of the alleged supporters, Allen O'Connell, has taken to Twitter to reveal that Carver has invited him and one other supporter to have a face-to-face sit down with Carver and the players.
O'Connell said: "We're going along on Friday to watch a bit of training, then sit down and talk to John Carver. We're thankful for getting the chance to speak to the staff and players.
