Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez has told defender Massadio Haidara to find a new club this summer, according to the Sun.

The report claims that the French full-back is set to return to his home country with Saint Etienne currently leading the chase for his services.

The 24-year-old has supposedly already held discussion with the Ligue 1 side.

Haidara joined the Magpies from Nancy in 2014, but could only make 37 first team appearances during his injury-afflicted time with Newcastle.
