Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez remains hopeful of landing a new goalkeeper this month.
The Daily Mail says the Toon remain in talks over a loan deal for Sparta Prague goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.
The 28-year-old Slovakia international starred for his country during their recent World Cup qualifying campaign and impressed against Scotland and England.
Sparta though want Newcastle to make a commitment to signing Dubravka on a permanent deal at the end of he loan.
