According to a report published by the Sun, Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez has rejected an offer from Everton to replace Ronald Koeman as manager of the Toffees.

Despite having spent heavily on new players during the summer, Everton are struggling in the Premier League and have so far only taken eight points from their opening eight games.

Recent speculation has also suggested that the club could soon part ways with Koeman.Benitez has spoken out publicly about his frustrations with the Newcastle board after they failed to back him sufficiently during the summer transfer window.

However, it now appears that Benitez will remain with Newcastle at least until the end of the season.
