Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez has named Achraf Lazaar in his Premier League squad.

Rolando Aarons has been left out of Newcastle United's 25-man Premier League squad for the first half of the season.

However, Lazaar has been handed an olive branch and is eligible to play for the Magpies after being included in Benitez's roster for the first half of the campaign.

But the Morocco international still has work to do before he is back in contention for the first team after training with the reserves.
