Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez has decided against recalling Adam Armstrong from Coventry City.
Benitez says he will rely on Aleksandar Mitrovic, Papiss Cisse and Siem De Jong to dig the club out of relegation trouble.
Armstrong has impressed and racked up 19 goals in League One this season, but Benitez wants “experience" in the last eight games.
He said: “We will allow him to stay on loan.
“We have players that have to manage the pressure. Maybe it could be fine for him to come back but you never know and you can't take any risks. I prefer to go with senior players with more experience."
