Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez has dismissed Tim Krul after his move to Brighton was made permanent this week.
The Dutch keeper's loan move to Albion for the rest of the season became permanent on Wednesday after his impressive debut the night before in the Carabao Cup exit at Bournemouth.
Krul played under Albion manager Chris Hughton at Newcastle but was frozen out by Benitez.
The Spaniard said: "He knew our decision. They announce now but we knew before. I wish him all the best. We have enough keepers."
