Newcastle United boss Sam Allardyce has dismissed calls for his resignation ahead of today's FA Cup clash against Stoke City.

"Why should I?" he asks. "I haven't done anything wrong yet. If the time came around when things went wrong, and I felt they were my fault, I would say it, but I don't see that time coming round."
