Newcastle United's board have pleaded with fans for patience this season.

Toon chiefs argue their new-look still needs time to bed down.

The board said through a statement at the club's Fans Forum this week: "The club understands the challenge attached to bringing so many players into a team at one time - and accepts it will take some players longer than others to settle into the club and the rigours and intensity of the Premier League."
