Newcastle United boss Joe Kinnear is chasing Wolves winger Michael Kightly.

Kinnear is set to meet club owner Mike Ashley ahead of the opening of the transfer window on Thursday to discover how much cash he has to spend.

And he has Kightly high on his shopping list.
