Newcastle United are moving for Scunthorpe United striker Garry Hooper.
The Daily Express says Toon boss Chris Hughton is also confident of landing Scunthorpe striker Hooper, who scored 20 goals last season.
Hughton is ready to test his club's resolve with a £2.5million offer.
