Newcastle United are chasing Blackpool winger Jason Puncheon.
The Mirror says Newcastle and Rangers are battling it out to land Southampton winger Puncheon in the summer.
Puncheon is currently on loan at Blackpool, but is looking for a permanent move in June.
Magpies boss Alan Pardew signed the player from Plymouth last year during his time in charge at Saints and wanted him again in January.
