Newcastle United's move for Toulouse midfielder Achille Emana is back on.

Emana declared recently: "I need a new challenge in my career.

"I know interesting offers have been made - such as Newcastle's - but I would like to join Betis if we reach an agreement."

However, it's emerged today that Betis are refusing to meet Toulouse's £7 million asking price for Emana and the move is on the brink of collapse.
