Newcastle United attacker Peter Lovenkrands rates Carling Cup opponents Arsenal in the class of Barcelona.
The Danish ace says they are just like Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Xavi.
But that will not stop the Geordies going for the kill - just as they did when shocking Chelsea in the last round.
Ex-Rangers hitman Lovenkrands said: "Every time they play you know it's going to be an exciting game because they pass the ball so well.
"This is a team who come closest to the passing game of Barcelona. It's the same kind of style with the same kind of players like Cesc Fabregas who can pass like Iniesta and Xavi.
"It's exciting to watch but it's not too much fun to play against when you're running about after them.
"They've been doing it for so many years and that's down to Arsene Wenger."
