Newcastle United midfielder Dan Gosling is seeking a loan move away.

The People says Gosling wants a spell out on loan from Newcastle United - after his recovery stalled on the fringes of Alan Pardew's first team.

The England Under-21 midfielder has battled back from a severe knee injury and is eyeing a spell in the Championship to prove himself again.

Gosling, 21, controversially signed from Everton on a free, was overlooked for the midweek Carling Cup defeat at Blackburn. And that competition had been his only chance of a game.
