Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew will have money to spend in January.
The Evening Chronicle says transfer funds will still be made available to Pardew after the Magpies despite a revelation last week that any "marquee" signing would have put the club into their overdraft.
Pardew is keen to move on from the transfer window and is delighted with his side's start after United climbed to their highest Premier League position in 12 months by beating Aston Villa.
