Newcastle United boss Sam Allardyce has expressed interest in PSG defender Sylvain Armand.
While negotiations have been ongoing with PSG for some weeks over Czech Republic international David Rozehnal, Allardyce has also enquired about the availability of Armand.
Along with Newcastle, Armand has attracted approaches from Lens, Lyon, Lazio and Fiorentina since the end of the Ligue 1 season.
