Newcastle United have expressed interest in Feyenoord winger Jean-Paul Boetius.

The Daily Mail says the Toon are considering a bid for Boetius.

The Holland international has one year left on contract and Newcastle are hopeful of signing him for around £2million.

According to reports, Boetius has been watched by Arsenal, Tottenham and Southampton this summer - although none of the clubs followed up interest with an official bid.
