Newcastle United are in contact with AC Milan for M'Baye Niang.

Niang has found himself sidelined this season under Milan coach Pippo Inzaghi.

Sky Italia says Newcastle have approached Milan in recent days about taking Milan on-loan. But the Rossoneri would prefer an outright January sale.

Niang had trials with Arsenal and Everton before opting to sign for the Rossoneri over three years ago.

Udinese are also interested in the French striker.
