Newcastle United are ready to cut short the loan of Shakhtar Donetsk striker Facundo Ferreyra.
The Evening Chronicle says the Argentinian striker has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Magpies.
He was linked with a move to Genoa who admitted in public they wanted to sign the South American.
A move has yet to materialise. However, he could be shipped out before the window shuts at the start of February.
