Newcastle United aim to close a deal for Melbourne Heart defender Curtis Good by the weekend.
The Evening Chronicle says with the Magpies due back on Tyneside today, the addition of Aussie defender Good could be tied up by the end of the week.
The youngster is in Newcastle while the Toon squad returns from their Portuguese camp.
