Newcastle United have reportedly agreed a deal in principle with Paris Saint-Germain for Yohan Cabaye.
Reports suggest that the French giants have made a second proposal for Cabaye after their £14million offer on Sunday fell short.
PSG have returned with a much-improved bid for the 28-year old and it is widely believed that he will land at Parc des Princes before the end of the week.
Magpies owner Mike Ashley wants more than £20million for Cabaye and will continue talks with PSG sporting director Olivier Letang before a deal is concluded prior to Thursday.
