Newcastle United have agreed terms with Montpellier for Remy Cabella.
The Daily Star says Alan Pardew is set to make Cabella Newcastle's second summer signing after agreeing a £6.5m fee for the France midfielder.
Pardew is desperate to strengthen his squad this summer, and wants the World Cup-bound playmaker to fill the void left by Yohan Cabaye's £20m move to Paris St-Germain in January.
Newcastle hope to agree personal terms on a £50,000-a-week deal before France launch their campaign in Brazil.
