Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko is determined to build on his first six months in England last season.
His best performances since the January move came when he started in a central role and it is where he expected to play.
However, speaking on nufc.co.uk , Sissoko said: "The manager played me as a number ten for a large part of last season and I'm very happy to play there.
"But next season we'll see what happens. We'll see what the manager wants, see where he wants me to play.
"I'll try and adapt the best I can, but the objective for me is just to come out and have a good season personally, because next summer is a World Cup year."
