Newcastle United accept Fabricio Coloccini will be off this summer.

The defender is expected to return to Argentina after an attempt to manufacture a move to San Lorenzo in January fell through.

The Journal says publicly the club and player might be talking of leaving a decision to the summer but behind-closed-doors there is an acknowledgement that he will leave in the close season.
