New Zealand won't see Celtic in July

Brisbane will be the only place in South East Asia that gets to see Celtic play in 2009. An approach from New Zealand to have Celtic play a match there after the July 12th clash with Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium was flatly rejected by the event organiser.

A spokesman from Celtic said that the Brisbane match would absolutely be the only match the Scottish club plays on their trip down under.

Any fans in New Zealand or elsewhere in Asia interested in watching the great club live are encouraged to get to Brisbane for the Sunday July 12 event.

Tickets go on sale on June 2 and more information can be found at www.roarvceltic.com
