Kris Bright is being linked with a move to MLS outfit Portland Timbers according to a report on nemzetisport.hu.
The 24-year old New Zealand striker is out of contract after his deal with Hungarian club Budapest Honved expired and could be set for the Timbers after spending a week on trial.
The former Fortuna Sittard and Shrewsbury Town man arrived in Budapest in the winter but was not offered a new deal for the upcoming season and is on the lookout for a new club.
Bright has attracted interest from Dutch club Excelsior but it appears as though he will continue his career in the USA with first-year MLS club Portland.
