Shane Smeltz has netted a hat-trick as Perth Glory recorded their first-ever A-League finals win.
The New Zealand international followed up his four-goal effort against Melbourne Victory in the last game of the regular season to score all three goals in the 3-0 home victory over Melbourne Heart in the semi-finals.
Smeltz netted in the 65th, 72nd and 92nd minutes to guide the West Australian club into the Minor Semi-Final where they will meet Wellington Phoenix at nib Stadium on April 8.
The winner of that match will take on the loser of the second leg of the Central Coast Mariners versus Brisbane Roar contest in the Preliminary Final. The Roar won the first leg 2-0 on Saturday.
