New York Red Bulls striker Juan Pablo Angel feels he has never been in such a situation in his entire career.
The Colombian striker is currently struggling with a niggling injury but was forced to play in the Red Bulls 2-1 loss to FC Dallas (in which he scored) and says the situation at the club is a difficult one.
"If we weren't in the situation that we're in right now, I wouldn't have played today," Angel told Goal.com.
"I've never been in this situation in my entire career, especially at this level. We only have 13 field players in the squad and I find that shocking. But I guess that's the way it is. There's obviously something we're doing wrong here - to be at this level and not have sufficient players to fill the bench."
