Bradley Wright-Phillips is delighted with his current goalscoring form at New York Red Bulls.
The striker has scored four goals in the past three games.
"Yeah, I feel like when you're in and out of the team obviously when you're a striker you need to score. The manager's not going to just play you if you're not scoring. When it comes down to me, I had to score,'' Wright-Phillips told the New York Post.
"He'd put me in and I didn't score. He took me out, he put me in and I didn't score. It's one of those. I knew if you get goals you get more respect and people see what you can do. Now, it just comes down to scoring. If you score goals, you play. It's as simple as that.''
