New York Red Bulls striker Bradley Wright-Phillips delighted with scoring form

Bradley Wright-Phillips is delighted with his current goalscoring form at New York Red Bulls.

The striker has scored four goals in the past three games.

"Yeah, I feel like when you're in and out of the team … obviously when you're a striker you need to score. The manager's not going to just play you if you're not scoring. When it comes down to me, I had to score,'' Wright-Phillips told the New York Post.

"He'd put me in and I didn't score. He took me out, he put me in and I didn't score. It's one of those. I knew if you get goals you get more respect and people see what you can do. Now, it just comes down to scoring. … If you score goals, you play. It's as simple as that.''
