New York Red Bulls signing Tim Cahill admits he had rival Premier League offers.
The Everton legend signed for the MLS club last week.
"There are always offers throughout your whole career over the years of playing in the Premiership. The one thing I've always built myself on is loyalty. If clubs want you they'll buy you, and the main thing is I've never wanted to leave," said Cahill.
"I've always signed new contracts at Everton, I've always been part of the stability of the team, the core of the team. As in offers, I don't entertain them, that's what your manager's job is to do, what the club's job is to do is to deal with things like that. I was never interested to leave to another Premier League club."
