The New York Red Bulls have sent defender Diego Jimenez back to Mexico's UAG Tecos. Acquired July 29, the 22-year-old Jimenez appeared in six regular-season matches and four playoff games. He earned his only assist in a 3-0 win over the Houston Dynamo on Aug. 24.

"We want to thank Diego for his time with the Red Bulls organization this season," sporting director Jeff Agoos said. "However, Diego expressed an interest to return home to Mexico at the end of his loan period."
