New York Red Bulls face a week's wait to discover if Luke Rodgers' visa application has been successful.

Currently with Lillestrom in Norway, Rodgers made his visa application earlier today.

"No, these kind of issues, they're going to be solved somewhere else. It's impossible for us to say anything. We're of course hopeful that he'll get his work permit; until we get the result it's hard for us to say how it's going to work out,'' GM Erik Soler told the New York Post. "I hope it's going to go a week-to-10 days.''
