New York Red Bulls insist youngster Juan Agudelo is not moving to Atletico Madrid. The attacker has been linked with the Spanish giants in the past week.

And the fact the Red Bulls and Atletico Madrid are both partners in a new 10-team alliance provided plausibility to a move.

But a Red Bulls spokesman told the New York Post: "We've had a lot of interest from different teams for several of our players. But we are building a team and not selling players at this time…as Erik (Soler) said a couple of weeks ago. (We) can't comment further."
