New York Red Bulls coach Hans Backe admits his side were poor in their 2-0 away loss to Chivas USA.
The Swede conceded that most of his players were not up to scratch as they dropped their first points for season 2010.
"All the outfield players, everyone had as really poor day, no rhythm in the passing game. Everybody looked tired over the entire 90 minutes. It was a poor game for us,'' said Backe.
Captain Juan Pablo Angel echoed the coach's sentiments, saying it was a disappointing result after two great wins.
"After two great results, we thought we could've done a lot better. We didn't set the tempo up, we were second best all over the field,'' said Angel. "It was in general, not only in midfield. We as a team didn't play well. Our passing game wasn't there (yesterday) and we gifted them a goal.''
