New York Red Bulls GM Eric Soler says no agreement has yet been struck with AC Milan defender Alessandro Nesta.

Nesta is eyeing a move to MLS at the end of the European season.

"Normally I don't comment. All I can say is we have no deal with anybody. That's all I'm going to say about it,'' Soler told the New York Post.

"We understand we need to keep on working on the roster if we want to win something this year,'' said Soler. "L.A. is the perfect example of how hard it is. You lose a few players, if you go down 5% in your performance, you lose games immediately.''
