New York Red Bulls coach Hans Backe was feeling fine on Sunday according to the club.
The Swedish manager remained in his hotel room on Saturday night with stomach cramps and was forced to watch his side defeat the Seattle Sounders 1-0 on TV but he is much better now according to club sources.
Assistant manager Richie Williams confirmed that Backe was ok and that he would return to the club very soon.
"He is doing fine," Williams said after the game. "He needed some rest and will be back with us next week."
Additionally, the club's Twitter page also said that Backe was doing well.
"Good news in addition to last night's win," the Red Bulls said on twitter. "Backe feeling better and on our trip home this morning."
