New York Red Bulls' Agudelo coming along in leaps and bounds

Juan Agudelo's development in the game is coming along rapidly according to New York Red Bulls general manager Erik Soler.

The 18-year old gained notoriety in the latter half of 2010, making his first four MLS appearances, including two in the play-offs, before gaining his first USA cap in November (in which he scored the winner against South Africa).

Soler feels that Agudelo has come a long way and is confident he will move on to bigger and better things.

"His development in the last year has been phenomenal and these last few months have been unbelievable for him," said Soler.

"I can't believe that a year ago I was sitting down with his parents to work out a plan for his schooling. He has come along incredibly quickly.

"One day, hopefully, he gets too big for us."
