New York Red Bull academy to train with Argentina

The youth academy of the New York Red Bulls have been invited to train with the touring Argentina national team in New Jersey.

As La Albiceleste prepare for Saturday's international friendly with USA in the New Meadowlands, they have asked the Red Bulls youngsters to come and train with them, with the first session being held on Wednesday morning.

Red Bulls director of youth programs Bob Montgomery admitted it was a great opportunity for the up and coming players at the club.

"The Red Bulls are getting worldwide recognition, and the fact that we were invited to practice shows that Argentina respects us and our club," said Montgomery.

"It's a dream come true for many of our players to train with a team of this caliber. We're very thankful for this opportunity and for the way that the Argentinean Federation has been so accommodating to us through this process."
