Reports suggest that proposed MLS club New York Cosmos may lure LA Galaxy star David Beckham if and when they return to North America's top flight.
Former Tottenham Hotspur director Paul Kemsley is working hard to renew the MLS licence for the iconic 1970s franchise to make a comeback to competitive soccer and it seems that Beckham is one name they are chasing.
The Daily Star reports that Beckham is a potential target for the club who are planning to play home games at Flushing Meadows although they may not be back in action for another three or four years.
That may make it difficult to lure Becks as he will be close to 40 by that stage and definitely in the twilight of his career.
