AS Roma striker Marco Borriello is being linked with a move to MLS.
Borriello is a target for Manchester City's MLS franchise New York City FC. The striker spent part of last season on-loan in England with West Ham United.
Borriello's future at AS Roma is clouded and Sky Italia says his camp have been in talks with NYCFC.
The plan is for Borriello to remain with Roma until January before gaining a release from his contract to join the new MLS expansion franchise.
