Frank Lampard is eager to play out the season with Manchester City.
The Chelsea legend is on-loan at City from MLS sister club New York City FC.
City are keen to hold onto Lampard with Yaya Toure set to miss much of January due to the Ivory Coast's Africa Cup of Nations campaign.
The Mail on Sunday says Lampard has told pals that he is ready to stay with Manchester City until the end of the season before linking up with New York City mid-way through the MLS season which starts in March.
