New York City FC - the Major League Soccer franchise formed between Manchester City and the New York Yankees baseball side - have named Jason Kreis as their first head coach, reports BBC Sport. Kreis took Real Salt Lake to the MLS Cup this year where they lost to Sporting Kansas City. NYCFC will enter the MLS in the 2015 season.
