WHAT: The New York City Football Club (NYCFC) today announced the launch of its 'City in the City' video contest. The contest invites individuals to enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a weekly prize of two tickets to the first NYCFC home game. Additionally, by sharing the 'City in the City' video featuring the stars of partner club Manchester City via Facebook and Twitter, individuals will be given the chance of winning the one grand prize of a signed ball by the stars of Manchester City featured in the video, as well as two tickets to the first NYCFC home game.

The NYCFC 'City in the City' video contest comes on the heels of an announcement last week by the club on the hiring of three key front office positions, and ahead of additional major announcements that are expected from the club before the end of the year.

Announced in May 2013, New York City Football Club will be Major League Soccer's 20th team, beginning play in the 2015 season. The team was launched in partnership by Manchester City Football and the New York Yankees and is led by Chief Executive Officer Ferran Soriano.

WHEN: The 'City in the City' video sweepstakes launches on Monday, November 18th, and will name a winner every Friday through December 20th. The grand prize sweepstakes winner who has shared with 'City in the City' video via Facebook and/or Twitter will be named on January 3rd, 2014.
