New York City FC coach Patrick Vieira has dismissed talk of taking the St Etienne job.
Vieira has been linked with ASSE as a replacement for Lucien Favre amid claims an agreement has already been struck.
But the Frenchman, who is still tied to Manchester City, insisted: "It makes me smile, because of course there is no signed contract or anything like that.
"It's bad information, I'm here, as always, I'm really happy, I love my job, I really enjoy being part of this football club.
"I'm focusing on my next game."
