New owners of West Ham United are attempting to get some cash back from the Carlos Tevez affair which sot the club millions.
David Sullivan and David Gold have inherited a debt of £110million and doing everything they can to recoup losses that occurred when the club's former solicitors were handling fiscal issues.
The Tevez drama cost the club around £19million as they had to pay out Sheffield United and now the joint chairmen have launched a legal challenge towards the former solicitors and the FA.
They also want to get back some money lost to the FA in regards to Dean Ashton who broke his ankle on England duty in 2006 and had to retire prematurely just 18 months after signing a five-year deal with the Hammers.
