New Watford fullback Kiko Femenia is confident his LaLiga experience will benefit his teammates.

The former Spain youth international now hopes to use that experience to his and the club's advantage during the forthcoming Premier League campaign.

“I'm privileged enough to have played against the best teams in the world in Barcelona and Real Madrid," he said.

“When you play against them you learn a lot. It's completely different here but I want to adapt myself and use my experience from there in this league.

“My ambition is to play as many minutes as possible in the team, to help the team finish as high as possible and to have a great season."
